Beauty of Destruction
Spring is almost here~. Goodbye woolly sweaters and hello cotton t-shirts! *laughs.
Just briefly; An Excursion to London & Warwick
The day began conveniently with me having to cycle in the rain to the Cambridge train station where I got together with Joey en route to King's Cross. Our trip was via London Euston and so we had to walk there from King's Cross Railway Stn. under a slight drizzle and on muddy pathways. Warwick University is located in an industrial city named Coventry which took more or less an hour to get to from London. It was quite an obstacle course throughout the day really, the puddles were everywhere and just dreadful. I wore white trainers when actually wellington boots would've been more appropriate AND I made a fashion statement of brown scattered spots-of-all-sizes at the leg of my pants by afternoon.
We got ourselves to Warwick Uni where we separated for our own Open Days and I met up with a senior of mine, a couple of Malaysians and finally Shikin (who was there for MORSE) at the end of it. From there on, we headed back to London where we had Malaysian cuisine (to put it delicately) with my sister and some of her friends. Lastly, before I jetted myself off to Cambs, I had an Iced Chocolate from Starbucks. (*coughs coughs, my friends would know that it's my favourite drink in the entire world after Iced Milo, hence the relevance of mentioning it).
Results for my January examinations were supposed to be released today but due to an unforseen technological pitfall, my Exams Administrator was unable to download the scores in time for today. I will be informed tomorrow. Tsk tsk tsk.
I don't care la sayang. I don't even need your time. I have other kids to turn to and am not someone who would particularly rely on anybody. I appreciate your concern though.
What goes around comes around anyway. Too late to do anything about that now.
