Anticipated Serendipity
Event 1 : Met Alex at the train station.
Event 2 : Forgot my ticket to Imperial College's Malaysian Night. (which was not my fault, thank you very much; it was left in my sister's drawer and I just simply neglected to ask her to hand it to me beforehand.) The excited sprint towards the Great Hall suddenly turned into a horror halt within a few seconds of the revelation. Fortunately, the situation was quickly saved by a few phone calls made by my sister to someone who I should be, or I am actually, grateful to.
Event 3 : The performance by the Malaysian undergraduates; The show was of a grander scale in comparison to other M'Nites in terms of production, participants and sponsors. It had a lot of likeable elements and talent was prevalent throughout the staging although it was not as humorous as UCL's. I do not think that hilarity was the point either, it is just that I have a tendency for witty one-liners and comical dialogues. The Writing Is On the Wall was great in its' entirety.
Event 4 : Caught up with Malaysians whom I haven't seen in a while and including Alaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan who I really have not met in ages.Hang Tuah bullied me! *sticks out tongue and laughs. :)
Event 5 : Visited Andalus on Edgeware Road. zzzzzz.
Event 6 : Sisterly bonding time?
Event 7 : Fire alaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarm. At 4.30 am no less. Exasperation wouldn't even begin to describe my mood. It was a few degrees below zero outside dammit!
Returned home safe and sound at lunchtime.
Presently, trying to get some studying done.
-I'm out-NB: I would've used the time as a chronological indication eg. 0800 hours and such as opposed to labelling them as 'events' but I couldn't be bothered to take note of the hands on my watch in addition to having the need for it to be precise if I were to jot it down in here.
