This is the first time I’ve changed my blogskin since I first started out in Dec ’05. I reckon it’s too cool how I’ve managed to keep this (blogging) up after a year and a half although I know many of you avid writers out there have kept a blog longer by far. Still, it’s an accomplishment for me. A minute one I admit but you’ve got to start somewhere.
One thing I’ve noticed is how my blog is so incredibly self-centred; I hardly (or never) write stuff that hasn’t an immediate connection to myself. Yeah yeah, it is a personal blog but hopefully I will one day write or divulge my take on some serious issues. Maybe when I won’t feel so intimidated by random readers out there, or once I’m well read, or maybe after I graduate and my opinions could be worthy?
Currently though, life isn’t exactly peachy. All I can say is that the heated choices I’ve made will be the death of me. I’d love to share a happy memory though. We have a Hiro-inspired (from the series Heroes) picture. You know, the one where he squeezes his eyes shut and scrunches up his nose real hard to time travel. We actually posed it and the photograph is painted in Comic effect because we took it with the iSight on my black Macbook. Looking at that picture will cheer me to no end any day. You have to take my word for it that it’s hilarious to look at. Sighs. No progress. We are what’s left of digital photographs and disappearing memoirs.
What good is a blog without a slight element of mystery eh?
