I love the relationship between Beth (Jennifer Anniston) and Neil (Ben Affleck) in He's just not that into you. *sighs*. This movie encapsulates various themes that exist in the realm of romantic relationships and isn't plainly what the title makes it out to be. It scares me a little bit thinking about the drama that lies ahead in finding the right one.
I still remember the episode from which the concept of the movie was derived from on Sex and the City (the beginning of season 6).
Miranda Hobbes: There's a lot of push & pull, a lot of mixed messages.
Jack Berger: I have to say that's all code for, he's just not that into you. I'm sorry. With guys, it's very simple. If we're into you, we're coming upstairs, we're booking the next date. There are no mixed messages.
Charlotte York: No mixed messages? I've spent my whole life deciphering mixed messages.
Carrie Bradshaw : I've made a whole career of it.
Miranda Hobbes: Wow. He's just not that into me.
Well, if you really love me
When you see me leaving, baby
Just let me go
