I must say that things in general are getting progressively better. Which is always, always much better than full-acceleration achievement of peace and happiness. I've been in London close to a month now and I feel more at home in this lovely little flat than I have in the last two places I've resided in. My routine however has not fully-evolved yet with only lectures on my schedule without tutorials and practical lectures.
Raya is this weekend. My birthday, tomorrow. I haven't decided which sucks even more. Don't get me wrong, the end of Ramadhan is my favourite day of the year after the last day of exams but you see, I'm just not a big-celebration sort of person. You must agree with me when I say that all of these celebratory events have a level of pretentiousness that makes you want to hurl. Well, I won't emphasize distaste further because I wouldn't want to alienate those friends who love these things. Many October babies that I know this year. I have over 30 friends on Facebook reaching their Nth number of years living this month. Happy birthday to all.
