Erase, backspace, tap tap tap.The song on blogplay, is a track off the prophets' latest album. One of the more buoyant ones I might add. I'd describe the album as popular punk rock at its finest. Note: Ian does afterall wear relatively skinny jeans. I swear to you there's at least seven out of twelve tunes that are potential chart-makers and the rest I'd reckon is a bit too loud for the general audience's liking. Get the record. Period.
Oh I'm also listening to Hoobastank's recent release, Every Man for Himself. It's a semi-experimental variation of Hoobastank's almost signature sound with pretty safe and catchy sing-a-long songs. I'm guessing that indie-music lovers oughta stay away from it. I'm picking 'More Than A Memory' as one to listen to. Taking Back Sunday and the Kooks. Two other bands whose CDs you may want to get your hands on.
They make really good packing music. That's the main point. Putting your life away into boxes and into storage does give you an eerie feeling. Like it's that easy to wipe your existence off the face of the earth. Unavoidable still.
Btw, thanks for tagging! I can't wait to see you kids. Gosh. Ten months. I look forward to the feeling. Please tolerate any un-Fara Alyaa-like behaviour eg. any over-emotional yada yada. Or very-Fara Alyaa-like behaviour too for that matter eg. screaaaaaaaams, shouts and OhMyGods!. Haha.
To next week. Cheers.
