What Became of A Broken Pencil
This is my BFF Soraya.
BFF stands for my Best Friend Forever.
I miss her more than words could describe.
Today is her 19th birthday.
In primary one, we bonded over my miraculous strength in breaking her pencil, making this our 13th year of friendship. Soraya, at the time of course, insisted upon an immediate replacement of the exact pencil. But we both now realize the sacred moment that the former pencil represents.
Next year, Soraya, insyaallah, we'll make a great night out of it here! I absolutely cannot wait!
